Weighing:
The scale is designed for no more than 44kg
Be careful when closing the belt. Only hold the clip buckle by the ends to prevent catching your fingers
Be careful when lifting heavy objects. Squat to prevent straining your back. Then gradually set down the object without dropping it.
1, Buckle the belt around the handle of the pieece of luggage you want to weigh. Push the two clips together to open the buckle. The buckle will spring open then. To close it, push the two parts of the buckle together until they audibly snap together.
2, Take hold of the sacle's handle and make sure that there is NO tension on the belt. To unsure that the scale display the correct reading, it may not be subjected to a load when you turn it on.
3, Push the ① button to turn on the scale. The message "HELLO" will appear briefly on the display followed by a zero reading for the last unit of weight selected and/or the ambient temperature. If the zero value does not appear, push the Reset button to set it.
By pushing the UNIT button you can switch between the following units of weight: kilogramme(kg), pound(lb), ounce(oz), and Newton(N) and also switch the reading for the ambient temperature to ℃. The respective unit if weight will appear above the measured value.
4, Slowly lift up the scale with the piece of luggage so that the entire weight is suspended by the scale. When you hear a beep and "hold" appears on the bottom of the display, then the weighing process is complete. You can now carefully set down your luggage.
5,The weight is displayed for apporximately 1 minute before the scale automatically turns off. During this tiem, you can switch between the units of weight by pushing the UNIT button
Tare Function:
To weight only the contens of a container/piece of luggage, proceed as follows:
Secure the container on the scale belt and weigh it as described in the section "Weighing"
Once the weighing process is complete and "hold" appears on the display, push the ① button. This resets the reading to 0
Now you can fill the container and wait for the reading. After the beep, the weight of the objects subsequently added to the container will be shown on the display, it does not include the weight of the container.
Temperature Function:
The scale also displays the current amient temperature in ℃. To do so, activate the scale by pushing the ① button. If the temperature is not automatically displayed after the device is turned on , push the UNIT button until it appears.
Turning the Scale off:
The scale automatically turns off after appoximately 1 minute. You can also turn off the scale by pushing the ① button. Hold the ① button down until "bye" appears on the display, it will then turn off.

The device does not work: The batteries are too weak or wrongly inserted. or the battery compartment is lid closed properly.
