I find that one of the best things about this mount is that it's inexpensive! It fits most cameras and even camcorders, and has a pretty decent design to it. The camera is held fairly tightly and securely on the mount and there are even 2 foam pads to ensure an unscratched handlebar and to adjust for thickness. | | Cons:
Unfortunately, this arrived with no instructions or illustrated manual. The durability of the mount is a little bit sketchy, leaving me unsure how well it would hold up on a rough and bumpy bike ride. This is mainly due to a little bit of looseness in the mount and also the fact that it's made primarily of plastic. The other thing I was a little bit disappointed with was that there isn't an easy and quick was to tilt the mount up and down...at least not with one hand while riding the bike. | | Overall:
To get some scenery or motion shots with you camera.....this is a great little gadget. Use caution as to the terrain you ride on while your camera is mounted. Use the foam pads to avoid scratching your handlebar's paint. This mount is also useful for those of you that might like to get a different type of video shot for making homemade movies. Great for cut-scenes and filming someone driving a car from an outside of the vehicle angle. | | |
