I purchased this pipe as a gift, so I have not used it and will not be able to comment on that part of the product, unfortunately. However, I am very familiar with water pipes of all kinds. I have inspected it thoroughly and am pleased to find that the quality is more than I expected for the price I paid. The packaging includes instructions in English, which is nice, even if those English instructions are obviously not written by someone who speaks English. (It's kinda sweet & a little incoherent, the way it's phrased, but the meaning of how to use & care for it is eventually understood) The metal is thicker & heavier than expected, might actually be real brass. It comes apart easily for cleaning, but is not lose where it will fall apart. The bowl doesn't just slide into the shaft, but it screws in, so it will remain stable during use. It's compact & sturdy to carry with you, so it won't get broken in a backpack or purse. This was a good bargain, in my opinion. | | Cons:
I forsee the biggest problem with this pipe being cleaning it. The build up of resin after repeated use MAY cause the threads on the bowl's shaft where it screws on, to stick, making it difficult to take apart for cleaning in the future. The stem is curved & not detachable, making it tricky to clean out also. However, the body is smooth & without cracks & crevices, making it easy to polish. | | Overall:
