it is very easy to use. focusing is simple, you can keep it on so thats handy as well. |
|
Cons: this laser is good only the rotation hat is only sticked with some sticky glue so that could be better, but overall, this laser is good |

Pros: Nice tight focus. Batteries seem to last for quite a while. Clean threads. |
|
Cons: It is not a burning laser as stated in add. Even at its best focus it is not even warm on the skin and certainly does not burn anything. |
|
Overall: Don't forget to order 2 of the batteries like I did. Also they are a lot cheaper through budgetgadget.com than at retail stores where they cost as much as $8.00 each in US dollars |

Pros: The laser is well made, and is a nice light weight in the hand.
The adjustable focus is tight, meaning it will remain in focus even if accidentally knocked.
As always, this laser is famous for burning dark materials, which is exactly what it can do. The focus can either be set to infinity or macro.
At night, the beam is very visible, and can be used to point at stars.
For its price, I recommend buying this product if you have a keen interest in lasers. |
|
Cons: If this laser is left on for more than five minutes, the laser diode will overheat and possibly destroy itself. Having said that, there really is no need to keep it on for that long.
As you turn the head of the laser to focus on an object, a sort of sticky residue, similar to Vaseline, can be felt underneath. It is a bit off putting, but would not stop me from purchasing the laser. It allows to laser head to be easily adjusted.
Goggles are recommended with this laser. It can be painfully bright when looked at on bright matte surfaces. Unfortunately, budgetgadgets.com do not sell such goggles. |
|
Overall: I will leave this space for laser safety:
This is a class IIIb laser. DO NOT, under any circumstances, shine this at any living thing. The laser is more than capable to blind someone if shone in the eyes. It takes less than 1/100th of a second to burn a person's retina.
Do not point that at any aircraft, or vehicle for that matter. You don't want to cause an accident which could end somebody's life. |
